Fees

Admission to the museum is free, however donations are encouraged. Scheduled guided tours and site rentals are available for a fee. Contact the museum at (410) 216-6180 or at bannekerdouglassmuseum@gmail.com for more information.

Directions

The Banneker-Douglass Museum is located in the old Mount Moriah A.M.E. Church at 84 Franklin Street in Annapolis (off Church Circle in the Annapolis historic district).

From Baltimore:
I – 97 South to U.S. 50/301 East
U.S. 50/301 East to Exit 24, Route 70 – Rowe Blvd.
Bear right at bottom of ramp onto Rowe Blvd.
Continue straight on Rowe Blvd. and bear right at intersection
At the traffic signal bear left onto Northwest Street
Turn right onto Church Circle
Turn right onto Franklin Street

From Washington, D.C.:
U.S. 50/301 East to Exit 24, Route 70 – Rowe Blvd.
Bear right at bottom of ramp onto Rowe Blvd.
Continue straight on Rowe Blvd. and bear right at intersection
At the traffic signal bear left onto Northwest Street
Turn right onto Church Circle
Turn right onto Franklin Street

From the Eastern Shore and Delaware:
U.S. 50/301 West to Exit 24, Route 70 – Rowe Blvd.
Bear right at bottom of ramp onto Rowe Blvd.
Continue straight on Rowe Blvd. and bear right at intersection
At the traffic signal bear left onto Northwest Street
Turn right onto Church Circle
Turn right onto Franklin Street

 

Parking

Limited two-hour parking (free and metered) is available near the museum.
