On February 24, 1984, the Mt. Moriah AME Church was dedicated as the Banneker-Douglass Museum of Afro-American Life and History– Maryland’s official state museum on African American history and culture.
The Banneker-Douglass-Tubman Endowment Fund
Help support the Banneker-Douglass-Tubman Museum Endowment Fund, created through a Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC) 25th Anniversary Designated Fund, with a special gift. Consider making a tax-smart donation with appreciated stocks and bonds, qualified charitable distributions (QCD) from an IRA, or a variety of planned gifts.
