    Guided tours are currently available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Occasionally, the museum is closed for private events on those days. Tours must be scheduled a minimum of two weeks in advance. Click here for our calendar of events/closures. Thank you for your understanding!

    H. Site Rules and Regulations

    Chaperones: One adult must accompany every 10 students. Chaperones remain
    with the group at all times, help maintain order student behavior, and assist the
    student during the program.

    Lunch Space: The museum is unable to provide space to eat lunch.

    Cost and Payment: Payment for the Banneker-Douglass-Tubman Museum Docent guided
    tour or workshop can be paid by cash or check in advance by mail, or can be
    brought to the museum at time of the activity. Banneker-Douglass-Tubman Museum
    reserves the right to cancel a program if payment is not received. A confirmation
    letter will be sent at time tour has been booked.

    Cancellations and Refunds: For cancellations or rescheduling of programs, please email us at [email protected]. Please notify the museum of any cancellations at least 48 hours in advance of your program. If a school cancels because of inclement weather, the Museum will reschedule the program or provide a full refund should payment be made in advance. If you are late for your schedule program, the Museum reserves the right to cancel the program.
