BDM Foundation
The Banneker-Douglass Museum Foundation (BDMF), Inc. is a private, non-private 501(c)(3) corporation, created, and operated for the benefit of the Banneker-Douglass Museum. The Foundation was founded in March of 1976 by Thomas R. Dawson, Carroll Greene, Jr., and Yevola S. Peters to support the Maryland Commission on Afro-American History and Culture in establishing and maintaining the Banneker-Douglass Museum as the State of Maryland’s repository of African American History and Culture.
